New walls going up means it's time to think about what's going inside them 🔌

Rough-in wiring is one of the most important stages of any residential build. Outlet boxes, switch locations, and circuit runs all get set before the drywall closes everything up, so it pays to have a licensed electrician handling the layout from the start. Maco Electric works with homeowners and builders in New Bedford and across the Southcoast to make sure new construction wiring is safe, clean, and ready for inspection.

What we bring to your project:
✔ Residential electrician services for new builds and additions
✔ Panel upgrades sized for how your family actually uses power
✔ An electrical home inspection mindset, catching issues before they get sealed behind walls

With cooler weather settling in, construction schedules fill up fast heading toward winter. If you're building or adding on in New Bedford, Dartmouth, or the surrounding area, send Maco Electric a message and let's get your wiring plan on the calendar.

That new pendant light won't hang itself 🔧

Fall is when a lot of Southcoast homeowners finally tackle the projects they put off all summer, and swapping out old light fixtures is one of the most common calls we get. Whether it's a statement pendant in the entryway or updated lighting throughout a freshly painted room, a licensed electrician makes sure the wiring behind it is just as solid as the fixture looks.

A few things our residential electrician team handles this time of year:
✔ Safe fixture installation, even on high ceilings
✔ Panel upgrades when your home's electrical system needs more capacity
✔ An electrical home inspection to catch aging wiring before winter

Serving homeowners in Dartmouth and the surrounding Southcoast, Maco Electric brings decades of experience to every job, big or small. And if shorter days have you thinking about backup power, ask us about generator installation too.

Reach out through our contact page and let's get your project on the schedule.
