We are seeking a skilled Electrician and Sign Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various commercial locations and new construction, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and maintaining safety standards. The Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical systems, sign faces, and digital gas price signs in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs.
• Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
• Knowledge troubleshooting digital gas price signs and any lighting contactor systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project ex*****on.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all job duties.
• Tech savvy and dependable phone to enter all needed notes to necessary portals.
• Familiar with working with heavy equipment and bucket trucks
• Strong organizational skills
• Monday-Friday typical working hours-weekend availability required once a month for weekend on call schedule
Qualifications
• Must hold TDLR Journeyman license
• OSHA 10
• Boom Crane license
• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Experience with high voltage systems.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at minimum 6 ft. to 125 ft. in the air.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
