Hemenway Construction Brad and Jessica Hemenway established BJ Roofing in 1999. Since that time, our business has grown from a two person operation to a multi-crew company.

Brad is the salesman, crew supervisor, and “Boss”. Of course, our employees are a major part of our business and the service and quality we can offer. We pick from the best craftsmen, and it shows in the quality of the workmanship and the care they take with each roof. We are proud of our business and the way we conduct it. - Picking up materials and tools
- Tearing off on roof when not driving

Qualifications:
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Trailer driving experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safety protocols
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (truck and trailer provided)
- Good driving record
- Must be able to drive to our shop in Cheney every morning to pick up the truck

BJ Roofing has exciting news! After 27 years of business we are officially changing our name. From now on we will be: Hemenway Construction.

We believe that this name represents both where we’ve been and where we are going. Brad and Jessi Hemenway (the “B” and “J” in BJ Roofing) started this company in 1999. Since then, two of their sons, Gabe and Luke have joined full time and now run the company alongside Brad, helping us to grow in new and exciting ways. As we expand and bring the next generation into bigger leadership roles, we felt it was time for a change.

Our family name is important to us. We take pride in being a name you can trust and continuing the legacy Brad and Jessi have laid for us. We stay committed to providing the same service and care that we’ve always had. More exciting news to come!
