Hosted in partnership with Georgetown University, MedStar Health, and the DC Community Anchor Partnership (DCAP), a program of The Coalition, the event was a great opportunity to connect with local subcontractors, learn more about their capabilities, and explore opportunities to work together on future projects.

, alongside E4H Architecture, is proud to have completed another project at INOVA Reston.

The renovation transformed the space to accommodate new CT technology while refreshing the surrounding patient areas. Behind the finished space was extensive coordination of structural modifications, building systems, new finishes, and specialized equipment requirements.

Working within an active healthcare environment added another layer of complexity. Careful phasing and coordination were essential to maintaining safe access, controlling dust and disruption, and allowing patients and staff to continue using the surrounding spaces throughout construction.

Healthcare construction is about more than building the space — it’s about understanding the people you’re building it for.

🏆 2026 ABC Excellence in Construction Award Winner!

We’re thrilled to announce that our higher education library renovation and expansion has been recognized with a 2026 ABC Excellence in Construction Award! hashtag transformed the 10,000 SF space into a modern, technology-enabled environment designed to inspire learning and collaboration.

This 11-month project expanded and fully renovated the existing space, featuring custom millwork, new MEP systems, expansive curtain walls with views of the Potomac River, and energy-efficient upgrades.

At the heart of the space is the Learning Lab, featuring a 72-screen video wall, cameras, microphones, and interactive technology.

From working within a busy, occupied campus to navigating a 60-year-old building with significant structural variations, this project demanded exceptional coordination, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

We’re grateful to ABC for this recognition, the long standing relationship with our higher education client, and ikon.5 architects for their collaboration in bringing this incredible space to life.

🏆 Award-Winning Project Spotlight | EPA Conference Center

We’re proud to highlight the EPA Conference Center, officially named the William D. Ruckelshaus Conference Center, which earned two prestigious awards:

🏆 2021 ABC Excellence in Construction Award
🏆 2021 CMAA National Capital Chapter Project of the Year

Located within the William Jefferson Clinton Federal Building, just below the Mellon Event Center, the project transformed an existing cafeteria into a state-of-the-art Auditorium and Conference Center.

Within 25,000 SF, delivered a main Auditorium, eight Conference Rooms, a Security Entrance, an AV/IT room, and new restrooms, along with structural modifications, high-end architectural finishes, HVAC replacement, integrated lighting and AV systems, upgraded security, telecom, and technology infrastructure.

This project required extensive coordination and attention to detail to deliver a sophisticated, highly integrated space within a historic federal building.

🏗️ Project Highlight | Westminster, Colorado

recently completed a 20,000 SF interior renovation for one of our valued clients in Westminster, Colorado.

The project included renovations across multiple floors within an occupied facility, including new paint and carpet, updated electrical fixtures, HVAC improvements, and the transformation of an existing warehouse area into a new office and all-hands space. The renovated area also features a new pantry and updated finishes throughout.

With the facility remaining fully occupied, our team maintained close coordination and supervision to keep work moving while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
