As a rule I almost never paint people. They are incredibly challenging and up until recently I've done my best to avoid painting any image with a face. I just put the finishing touches on this painting I created live at my church Christmas concert. I only hope that one day I will be able to paint a more realistic portrait of the Madonna and Child.
