It was an exciting week for the employee-owners of Palmer and Sicard as we proudly awarded the 2025–2026 Palmer and Sicard Construction Industry Scholarships to two outstanding graduating seniors from the Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter: Anna Barlow of Sanborn Regional High School and Harrison Higgins of Exeter High School.
Anna was selected for her strong commitment to volunteerism, her passion for construction, and the outstanding character she has demonstrated both in and out of the classroom. A three-sport athlete, Anna received high praise from her teachers and coaches for her work ethic, leadership, and dedication. This fall, she will attend Norwich University, where she plans to study Architecture. She has also been invited to participate in the Honors Program and join the women’s Cross Country Team.
Harrison was selected for his desire, drive, and commitment to becoming a skilled craftsman. His teachers described him as not only a talented builder, but also a responsible, dependable, and thoughtful individual in the classroom and on the jobsite. Harrison will begin his construction career this summer by joining the Palmer and Sicard Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.
At Palmer and Sicard, we are dedicated to promoting careers in the construction industry by providing training, education, and growth opportunities for our employees, while also encouraging students to consider the many rewarding career paths available in the trades and construction fields.
We have no doubt that both Anna and Harrison have bright futures ahead of them. They truly embody the spirit of this scholarship and everything it was created to support. Congratulations to Anna and Harrison on this well-deserved recognition.
