They built them cozy in the 1950s—but families and lifestyles have grown since then.

This classic Cape was completely transformed by removing the original roof and constructing a full second story, giving the home the space and traditional proportions of a Colonial. The finished exterior looks so natural, you’d never know it began as a modest postwar Cape.
