Little pipe project I did a week or so ago. I was brought in the help the customer during a plant shutdown. This is a P trap mounted to a tank that we had to take 4 inches out of the long upper leg. With the 2 flanges still needed to fit the tank there ended up being 4 joints that had to be cut, fit and rewelded. I was able to get everything modified as needed, fit and rewelded and the piece fit back on the tank with no issues after passing a mag particle test. I was happy with the results and was glad I practiced before hand. Definitely learned a lot on this job, as I don't do a lot of pipe, but is was fun/challenging and look forward to more pipe work.
