Fall storms are on the way. 🌧️🍂 Is your gutter system ready?

Before the next round of heavy rain, take a look at your gutters and downspouts. Check for visible debris, sagging sections, leaks and water pooling around the foundation.

Taking care of gutter problems before a major storm can help your system handle the increased water flow and keep rainwater moving away from your home.

Gutters serve an important purpose, but they can also complement the look of your home. 🎨 Choosing a gutter color that coordinates with your roof, siding or trim helps your new system blend naturally with the exterior.

Functional doesn't have to mean unsightly, and the right gutter color can be an important part of your home's curb appeal! https://callgullygutters.com/color-chart/

Getting new gutters? Here's what you can generally expect from the installation process.

First, your home is evaluated to determine the right gutter layout and drainage solution. Measurements are taken, materials and colors are selected and the existing system may be removed if you're replacing old gutters.

Once everything is prepared, the new gutters are installed and the system is checked to make sure water can flow properly toward the downspouts.

A quality installation is about more than just putting gutters on the house: it's about creating a system that works specifically for your home. https://callgullygutters.com/gutter-services/gutter-installation/

Myth: Gutters don't need to be cleaned if it hasn't rained.

Even during dry weather, leaves, pine needles, moss, dirt and other debris continue building up in your gutters. 🍂

When the next storm arrives, that buildup can restrict water flow and contribute to overflowing gutters or clogged downspouts.

Keeping your gutters clear before the rain returns helps make sure they're ready to do their job.

A small gutter problem may seem easy to ignore, but water has a way of creeping into places it shouldn't be.

Leaks, overflow, sagging and poor drainage allow water to reach your siding, fascia, landscaping or foundation. What starts as a gutter issue may eventually become a much bigger home maintenance problem.

Addressing problems early helps protect your home and potentially saves you the trouble of more extensive repairs later. https://callgullygutters.com/gutter-services/gutter-repair/

In the Pacific Northwest, rain is a regular part of life, which means your gutters get plenty of practice doing their job. 🌧️

Frequent rainfall makes proper drainage especially important. Leaves, pine needles, moss and other debris can build up throughout the year, while repeated water flow reveals leaks, poor pitch or drainage issues.

Keeping your gutter system clear and in good condition helps it handle the wet weather that comes with living in the PNW. https://callgullygutters.com/

Just had a big storm? Check these 3 things around your gutters:

1. Look for overflow. Water spilling over the edges could indicate a clog or drainage issue.

2. Check your downspouts. Make sure water is flowing freely and being directed away from your home.

3. Look for new damage. Sagging, loose sections or visible leaks may indicate that your gutter system needs attention.

A quick check after a major storm can help you catch problems before they become bigger issues.

Does your gutter system need a cleaning, or is it time for something new?

Cleaning can usually solve problems caused by leaves, needles and other debris. But if your gutters have widespread rust, recurring leaks, sagging sections, separation or other ongoing issues, replacement may be the better long-term solution.

The right choice depends on the condition of your existing system. A professional evaluation can help you determine what makes the most sense for your home. https://callgullygutters.com/gutter-services/

Your gutters work closely with your roofline to help manage rainwater. 🏠

When gutters are clogged, damaged or improperly draining, water can back up or overflow around the edge of your roof. Over time, excess moisture contributes to problems around the fascia, soffits and other areas near the roofline.

Keeping your gutters in good working condition helps keep rainwater moving away from these vulnerable areas.

"These guys were excellent. Quote was accurate for the job. They then worked around my house getting painted. Tore old gutters off so painters could work, then returned next week to install new gutters after house was painted. From quote date to installation date was 2 weeks. Turnaround was fast and gutters look great. Gutter guards already doing their job!" - Kyle R. via Google

Thank you, Kyle! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad we could work around your home’s painting schedule and get your new gutters installed quickly once the painting was complete. It’s great to hear you’re happy with how everything turned out and that those gutter guards are already doing what they were made to do!
