It’s been a busy summer for our Environmental and Petroleum teams working with customers across Indiana and Illinois to help them stay ahead of changing UST requirements and make informed decisions about their facilities.

🔹 Indiana: Assisting customers with IDEM’s 50/50 reimbursement program for eligible legacy UST systems.

🔹 Illinois: Helping facility owners evaluate their UST systems and get ahead of the October 13, 2028 containment sump requirements, including the upcoming requirements for containment sumps to be installed where none currently exist and for sumps to be maintained clean and dry. (SFM Illinois⁠)

We appreciated KPMA Executive Director Brian Clark stopping by our office to be apart of Mark Hinderliter being presented the KPMA Challenge coin for his dedication and support of the KPMA and the industry. While here he took a tour of our facility, met with staff, discussed industry topics, and shared a taste of some of Kentucky's hospitality.

Our Compliance &Testing Director Matt Yancy joined other KPMA members in Washington DC for the Energy Marketers Association's Day on the Hill, effectively discussing industry interests and concerns impacting marketers, small business owners, and consumers with elected officials.

On Thursday, the Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association (KPMA) hosted its annual Legislative Summit in Louisville, KY, providing members with updates on policy decisions and outcomes of the 2026 Kentucky legislative session. KPMA Chair Brian Newcomb and Immediate Past Chair Scott Kiser welcomed Kentucky Senate President Robert Stivers and House Majority Whip Jason Nemes as featured speakers. The KPMA was honored to have legislative leaders share their insights with members.
