I just finished scraping and repainting this basement with Drylok to keep moisture out. Big difference!

This took a whole day of sanding to get the old paint marks off and ready for new paint, but I certainly got it done. It’s wild how paint is the last thing that happens in the process.

This is what painters call picture framing. This is when the roller supplies paint sufficiently, but the cut-in lines don’t get a second coat, making a “picture frame” appearance on the surface that was painted. It’s important to always make sure the edges and corners of a painted surface have sufficient coverage to prevent this eye sore from occurring.

The past couple of days, I’ve been sanding down and reshaping wooden beams. I am stoked they turned out so good!
