Ground mount arrays for 13 kWh pv, integrated with existing pv, (2) Solark inverters, enough energy storage to choke a goat, with a 20k gennie for backup. This will keep the freezers cold with silent energy while the crew winds down from a day of hard work and settle into an evening jam.
Kudos to Booney Acres for taking the leap and going sustainable. Super impressed with the farm crew/firefighters who keep up the good work and protect the investment. Pay Attention! Pay Attention! Pay for Attention!!!

If you are thinking that this weekend is a good time to clean the coils under your refrigerator, then you are right! This is one of the easiest ways to save a ton of energy and wear and tear on your appliance. Here are some before and during pics of the process. Pull the fridge out, unplug it, remove and clean the plastic cover at the base. Then you will see your coils. Using a coil brush and vacuum, get all the funk off. It’s super satisfying and doesn’t take very long. $5 on a coil brush and a screwdriver is all the tools you need.
