Installed floor-to-ceiling wall trim down a 20ft hallway, new door casing and door headers, and added an arch at the entry to set the tone. In the main bedroom, I installed custom door headers, Wall trim, beadboard on the ceiling, and crown to finish it off.

I didn’t handle the paint on this one but the homeowner has a great eye for style. Really enjoyed collaborating and helping bring his vision to life.

Projects like this are all about the details. Clean lines, good flow, and making the space feel intentional.

From Worn-Out to Wow: Kitchen Island Transformation

This kitchen island in a McBride Sequoia home was looking rough, but a little vision and elbow grease turned it into a bold accent piece! I replaced two damaged panels, wrapped the rest in 3.5” boards and wall trim for a custom look, and finished it off with a sleek, semi-gloss true black paint. Now it’s a statement piece that completely upgrades the space.

This transformation isn’t just for the Sequoia—this style can work with any kitchen island to add character and contrast! Would you go bold with black in your kitchen?

Been a little quiet on here lately, but for good reason—I’ve been busy tackling a bunch of handyman projects on my buddy’s rental properties. One of the bigger ones was this lean-to roof we just wrapped up framing. Definitely proud of how this one turned out! Big thanks to Jeff (pictured), Andy, Tristan, and Dan for the help along the way. Another crew will handle the shingles, but the structure is solid and ready to go!

Just wrapped up installing these custom wooden shelf covers for a neighbor, and I’m thrilled with the result! The wooden covers hide the wire shelf and I included a single post cover to disguise the support pole, giving the whole setup a seamless and polished look.

It’s amazing how one small change can make such a big difference! What do you think of this transformation?

🛠️ Just wrapped up a laundry room refresh in a sequoia-style home! Originally, the plan was to have built-in cubbies across the top of the wall, but when I set the top piece down for installation, it revealed a whole new look. The client loved the orientation, so I adapted the design on the spot—resulting in a custom layout that brings functionality and style to this cozy space. Removing the closet and adding cubbies with a bench transformed this room into a true storage hub. Dm me if you would like to transform your space!
