A major milestone in North Louisiana is underway with the transport of a large power transformer procured from AES Clean Energy.
Weighing 211,870 pounds, the transformer is traveling from Garden City, Kansas to Richland Parish, Louisiana to support a customer’s need for commissioning power at the Meta data center. Due to its size, the move is expected to take about seven days.
The unit is being transported by New Iberia-based H. Brown, with local partners MMR, Dashiell, B&B Constructors, ULCS, and Ampirical supporting construction, engineering, and procurement once it arrives.
This effort reflects the scale, coordination, and collaboration required to deliver reliable power solutions that meet our customers’ growing demands.
