Happy First Friday Filter Change! As we head into heating season, your filter is more important than ever. A clean filter helps your furnace run efficiently, keeps dust and allergens from circulating through your home, and can even help lower your energy bills.

Quick rule of thumb: 1" filters should be changed monthly, and 4" filters every three months. Not sure what you have? Check the side of your current filter for the size, or give us a call and we'll help you out.

🌧 The rain is here, and just like that, summer is wrapping up. If your AC has been doing all the work lately, it's time to start thinking about the other side of your system.

Before you fire up your furnace or heat pump for the first time this season, a quick tune-up can make sure everything is running safely and efficiently. It's a lot better to find out about a problem now than on the first cold night of the year.

Automatic Heat is here to help Eugene and Springfield homeowners make the switch from cooling season to heating season with confidence. Give us a call at 541-726-7656 or visit automaticheatco.com to schedule your fall tune-up.

Running your AC during the day and turning on the heat at night? There's a system built for exactly that.

Heat pumps handle both heating and cooling in one unit, so there's no switching between two separate systems when the seasons overlap. They're energy efficient, work year-round, and are a great fit for the mild winters and warm summers we get here in the Willamette Valley.

If you've been thinking about upgrading your HVAC system, fall is one of the best times to do it. You'll be set up before winter and skip the peak-season rush.

Automatic Heat is a certified Mitsubishi and Daikin heat pump dealer. Call us at 541-726-7656 or visit automaticheatco.com to learn more.

AC during the day, heat at night. Sound familiar? That in-between season is here, and your HVAC system is pulling double duty.

Here are a few tips to keep things running smoothly during the transition:
☑️ Make sure your system can handle both heating and cooling. Heat pumps do this naturally, but if you have separate systems, confirm both are ready to go.
☑️ Avoid constantly adjusting your thermostat. A programmable or smart thermostat can handle the back and forth for you.
☑️ Schedule a tune-up now. It's the perfect time to make sure everything is in good shape before your heating system takes over full-time.
