In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover the simple, satisfying art of making your own herbal salves from scratch. We’ll start with the basics—choosing quality oils, beeswax, and dried or fresh herbs—and guide you through the gentle process of infusing, straining, and blending everything into a smooth, skin-nourishing salve. You’ll learn about the properties of common healing herbs like calendula, plantain, and lavender, and how to customize your recipe for dry skin, minor cuts, aches and pains, or everyday soothing. Along the way, we’ll touch on the folk magic of herbal preparations—how intention, seasonality, and simple ritual can turn a jar of salve into something more meaningful. You’ll leave with your own tin of finished salve and the confidence to keep making it at home. No experience needed!

We will have Little Taste from Heaven there, a vendor market with lots of amazing works for sale, a Greatful Dead cover band “Token and Friends”, and will be showing work for 2 amazing artists Nicole Farley Outsider Artist and Marlis Badalish Marlis Marlis

Introduction to Soap making
Sunday July 26th 4-6pm

This class uses sustainable and vegan friendly ingredients

This workshop is designed for beginners to gain a thorough introduction to cold process soap making, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. You will learn the fundamentals of soap creation using gentle and bubbly premium oils like, Olive Oil, Castor Oil and other oils. Customize your soap with your favorite essential oils, choose whether to add colorants or leave it completely natural without scent or colors.

You will be able to take home a pound of personalized soap at the end of the workshop, which you can cut the next day.
