Today marks 10 years for Buddy’s Property Services

A lot has gone on it 10 years, more than I realized after a quick breeze through some pictures. Our typical scope of work on a project has changed a bit from where we started out. To say I had envisioned any of this from the get go would be a lie, slow consistent growth in our capabilities has led us to tackling some pretty cool things. Pushing the comfort zone little by little has taken us from be daunted by a lawn that seemed too big to mow to projects that I wouldn’t have been able to tell you the first step of 10 years ago. There’s a lot more that’s accomplishable in life than you’d think if you simply take that first step and follow it up with another and another.

10 years, a decade, a solid 10-15% percent of your average lifespan, what’s to show for the culmination of that time. Lots of jobs that come and go, lots of days that have to just get pushed through, lots of problems that had to be solved, some cool equipment purchases, some crummy decisions to wade through; but looking back on it all, there’s one thing that really stands out, the people. We’ve had clients that have given us amazing opportunities and trust to deliver not just products, but experiences to them; we’ve had vendors pour uncalled for amounts of effort into us in hopes of our mutual success; friends that have put their night plans to the side to help me through something; salesman that gave me the time of day when it wasn’t deserved; and above it all, I’ve had the blessing of smiling and laughing alongside a crew that placed a bet on me to provide a life for them and their families, that’s a weight I don’t take lightly and one that I will gladly smile while carrying.

To all those involved along the way, Thank you. Here’s to 10 more years of making sure there’s no more cards left on the table of life; work or otherwise

Loving the color combination on this front entry we completed last week.
Locally sourced and sawn Liberty Hill paving complimenting Jet Mist steps.

This started out as lawn with a set of concrete steps at the front door. The homeowners can now sit and enjoy their beautiful front yard, while also taking full advantage of their previously unused front entry.
