Loving the color combination on this front entry we completed last week.
Locally sourced and sawn Liberty Hill paving complimenting Jet Mist steps.

This started out as lawn with a set of concrete steps at the front door. The homeowners can now sit and enjoy their beautiful front yard, while also taking full advantage of their previously unused front entry.

We’ve harped on this before, but it bears repeating. Nature and the outdoors provides all we need in life. If you are making an investment on how you enjoy your landscape; don’t fight that, embrace it. Use natural elements (stone, water, fire), create a natural flow through the landscape, and compliment your surroundings rather than push against them.

Can you spot the pergola footings?

We had The Rock Shop fabricate 7" thick pieces out of the same granite material as the paving. With some layout and forward planning, we were able to blend them seamlessly into our patio. Wind will never be a worry with this aluminum structure now, nor will the client be bothered by any aesthetically obtrusive anchoring or misaligned patio cuts and joints.
