Another home ready for the heating season!

This customer’s oil tank was approximately 40 years old, and they decided it was time to replace it before the heating season began.

We safely pumped out approximately 100 gallons of heating oil, removed the old tank, installed the new oil tank, and transferred the fuel back into the new tank.

We also installed this customer’s new boiler last year, so now they have a newer boiler and a brand-new oil tank — ready to reliably serve their home for years to come.

DJ Russo provides:

• Heating & Cooling
• HVAC Service & Repairs
• Oil Tank Replacements
• Boiler & Furnace Installations
• Whole-House Generators
• Electrical Services

Another complete home comfort upgrade in the books!

We had the opportunity to complete this project for an amazing new customer who came to us through a recommendation from her sister. We truly appreciate every referral and the trust our customers place in DJ Russo!

This home had a very old heating system, an A/C system that was around the same age, and an aging natural gas water heater. After meeting with our customer, going over the different options, and finalizing the paperwork, we got right to work.

The home is now equipped with a brand-new furnace, new central A/C system, and new natural gas water heater — giving our customer reliable heating, cooling, and hot water for years to come.

Now she can settle into her new home, feel comfortable, and enjoy it with peace of mind!

For heating, cooling, electrical, or whole-house generator services, feel free to contact DJ Russo.

🔥 A 1950s BOILER — OVER 1,200 LBS! 🔥

This old boiler has been heating this home since the 1950s and definitely earned its retirement! It was extremely oversized for the home, but we have to give it credit — it lasted all these years and did an outstanding job.

Our customer decided it was finally time for an upgrade, so DJ Russo removed this 1,200+ lb monster and replaced it with a brand-new boiler properly sized for the home.

With heating season right around the corner, now is the perfect time to make sure your heating system is ready for another Connecticut winter.

Whether you need a replacement, repair, routine service, heating & cooling work, or a whole-house generator, DJ Russo is here to help.

🚨 SEMI-EMERGENCY HVAC REPLACEMENT 🚨

Some pictures of the old system and new system!

Check out this recent heating & cooling upgrade!

For the past three years, we’ve been helping this homeowner keep his existing system going. Unfortunately, it had become one repair after another—costing him more money while becoming less and less reliable.

When the blower finally failed, he had a decision to make: put more money into an aging system or invest in a complete upgrade.

He decided it was time to stop patching the old equipment and upgrade the entire heating & cooling system! 🔥❄️

We got him taken care of with a new, reliable system so he can have peace of mind knowing his home is ready for the seasons ahead.

If your system is constantly breaking down and you’re tired of putting money into repairs, give DJ Russo a call. We’d be happy to go over your options and help you decide what makes the most sense for your home.

PACKAGE UNIT SERVICE! ❄️🔥

Here’s one we don’t come across every day!

This customer asked us to fully service and tune up the cooling side of their package unit, with plans to have us return in the fall to tune up the heating side.

Package units aren’t something we see too often in this area. At this particular condo complex, some units have package systems, while others have traditional attic furnaces with A/C coils.

During the service, we found the outdoor coil was heavily restricted and needed a thorough cleaning. After cleaning the coil and completing the cooling tune-up, we saw the liquid-line pressure drop significantly and the system operate much more efficiently.

A clean coil allows the system to breathe properly, reject heat more effectively, and reduce unnecessary strain on the compressor — helping improve efficiency and potentially extend the life of the equipment.

Whether you need heating, cooling, electrical, whole-house generators, maintenance, or repairs, DJ Russo has you covered.

Another heating upgrade completed by DJ Russo Services!

This client had an older gas-fired boiler and gas water heater, both over 20 years old. During the past winter, they experienced several failures that required repairs to keep the systems operating. Although we were able to get everything running properly, the homeowner decided it was time to upgrade rather than continue investing in aging equipment.

We replaced both units with a new high-efficiency wall-hung combi boiler, which provides both home heating and domestic hot water from one system.

By eliminating the old boiler and separate tank-style water heater, the homeowner now has:

• More usable space in the mechanical room
• A newer, more efficient heating system
• Heating and hot water from one compact unit
• New equipment backed by manufacturer warranties
• Peace of mind heading into the next heating season

Another clean upgrade that modernizes the home while improving efficiency and reliability!

Another complete installation by DJ Russo Services!

This homeowner was having trouble keeping their second-floor bedroom comfortable because their main central A/C system just couldn’t keep up with the cooling demand.

After giving us a call, we came out to evaluate the space, discussed the best solution, and installed a dedicated ductless split system for the bedroom. Now they can enjoy a cooler, more comfortable bedroom without having to rely solely on their main A/C system!

Another successful installation completed by DJ Russo Heating & Cooling!

Our customer owns a two-family home that previously had no air conditioning in the main living area or the basement. They wanted year-round comfort throughout the entire home, so we designed and installed a 5-zone ductless mini-split system.

This installation included:
• 3 Mitsubishi indoor units for the main living spaces
• 2 Samsung economy-series indoor units for the basement
• Surge protectors installed on every system for added electrical protection
• Outdoor condensers strategically installed in a protected location to shield them from the elements, allowing the Mitsubishi equipment to be safely ground-mounted.

The home’s primary heating source remains the existing boiler, while the new mini-split systems now provide efficient heating and air conditioning throughout the entire home, delivering year-round comfort and improved energy efficiency.

If you’re considering upgrading your home’s heating or cooling system, we’d be happy to help!
