VSMART was born September 1st of 2011 after the founder & owner realized he would need to think outside the box in order to provide for his family. VSMART is an acronym for Vermont Small Maintenance & Repair Tech. He previously had a career as a Property Manager of several shopping centers & malls first in PA, and then in VT and ME. He was definitely ready for a change and liked the idea of starti
ng his own business. In the beginning, Rick’s customers were predominantly residents in the surrounding Burlington, VT area; many of whom were widows and or elderly home-owners that were in need of someone they could trust & rely on to keep up with the repairs and maintenance needed in their homes. Rick still very much enjoys taking care of these customers. He has a real passion to serve them so they can remain living in their homes safely and securely. In the past year and a half VSMART has grown, mainly through referrals and word of mouth. In addition to our residential customers, we now serve various business, commercial & retail accounts as well as non-profit organizations in Northern Vermont. Rick is a very reliable, trustworthy man of integrity who concentrates on providing quality work and care for our customers, especially when it comes to looking out for the elderly, single moms and widows. No job is considered too small and for larger jobs Rick has great resources to draw from as well. We aim to get whatever repairs or projects done in a timely manner with little to no wait time for our customers. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers as we aim to provide each one with quality, efficient work whether in their homes or in a work environment.
