This client and his family stayed at Kusasa, eco-lodge at the Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. "Kusasa" means "tomorrow" in Zulu.
"Beautifully crafted custom Rummikub set — true one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. Joe constructed a custom wooden Rummikub set with a safari theme inspired by a recent trip to South Africa, and it's incredible.
He was collaborative from the start — genuinely curious about the trip and full of ideas that made the design even better than I'd imagined. My favorite touch: each tile rack features a different animal, so every player gets their own little piece of the theme.
The craftsmanship is outstanding — clearly made with real skill and care with beautiful solid wood, not mass-produced. It's as much a conversation piece as something you'd actually play with. Highly recommend Joe for anyone wanting a custom piece that's meaningful and beautifully made. Communication was excellent throughout, and would love to work with him again!"
