Fermented pepper mash is so simple, delicious, and good for the gut.
This has to be the prettiest one I've ever made... lemon drop (limon), datil, and purple perfume peppers...with a few other random ones thrown in.
It should be ready in about 4 weeks! 🔥

As some of you know, we lost our sweet dog Jesse over 3 months ago at the ripe old age of (almost) 14. What a devastating time the weeks following that sad day was...and, although we have been without him for 3 months, there's not a day that goes by that we don't think of him, and wish he was still here...
The good news is, we adopted this little guy (Rascal) over a month ago, and he is a ray of sunshine for us and Zack too! In fact, he is Zack's "mini-me." It's so nice to watch his puppy antics and playful spirit...he makes us laugh all the time!
We are so happy that Zack has a buddy to hang out with...and it makes him a bit more spunky too (he's 12.5 now.)

I didn't grow many veggies this fall-- needed a break-- but the winter crops I did put in are enjoying the sunny warm days we've been having...sure doesn't feel like December. Soon it'll be the Solstice, and I'm looking forward to longer daylight hours once again.

We'll be picking peas soon 🫛

OK, this is the BEST Bbq sauce ever! And, I made it using leftover Cowboy Candy syrup from yesterday.
It's sweet, tangy & has just the right amount of heat.

But, the BEST part is what I found to do with the leftover syrup....update coming tomorrow! 😉 🤤
