When your parents run their own business you will often be "on call" even when you work other jobs of your own.
Today was some heavy equipment training for our 20yr old daughter. She likes to know she can do it herself.
He will always be a proud dad even when he is "the boss".

When your trucks work constantly and that included heavy work like plowing, salting, and hauling debris and mulch from job sites year round they need to be maintained.
Sometimes that maintaining is 💰💰
Those repairs are downtime for those trucks which means losing a valuable piece of equipment in your operations.
Finding mechanics that can work on your equipment in a timely fashion is often a struggle we are blessed with a few options and Evening Auto moving literally a half mile from our shop is a huge plus!!
Gotta keep the fleet in good condition to last.

More flower pots cleaned up from weeds and last years roots and replanted for this year!
Don't have time, but you want some flower pots and color in your yard? We do that too.

All plants are purchased locally. Majority of them from Stan's Garden Center (East side location). The Dhalia's and Citronella plants, and mini trellises were purchased from Mason Farms Country Market.

Why go to a big box store when you can support local?

The selection is better, the staff at both were kind, helpful and went above to make sure we got what we were looking for.

Can not wait until all of this fills in. We were going for bright and tropical colors for this summer.

Before (3 that looked like that or worse) and the afters.

Can't wait to see how they look when they fill in. Will update as the season progresses.

We would like to extend our condolences to the Waters family and the entire Otters staff, players, and hockey family. Jim was a wonderful man who poured into these young men and truly supported their dreams. He will be greatly missed.

The Erie Otters are devastated to report the sudden and unexpected passing of Jim Waters, team owner, OHL governor, and avid team supporter.

Jim passed away this morning, leaving a profound void in the lives of his family, friends and the Canadian hockey and broadcasting communities.

The Waters family is just beginning to absorb this shocking loss and will release a more personal tribute to Jim, an extraordinary husband, father and friend to all who knew him.

The Team shares in the grief felt by all who knew Jim and sends their deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

PSA: I can confidently say that I speak for every single person with a snowplow. PennDot, township municipalities, the city of Erie and small business owners….. if you have called us to plow your driveway and you are not a regular seasonal customer, we unfortunately cannot help you. This storm is a BATTLE for EVERYONE to say the least. We cannot even get to our own customers right now. I personally apologize for anyone who has reached out to us and we have not called or responded back. We just can’t. We personally have had dozens of calls from people. We just can’t respond to all of them. Brian and our crew have worked tirelessly since the onset of this storm and just couldn’t keep up. The city is a disaster and there’s more on the way. Our trucks have been stuck all over the place. This storm is one for the books. True Lake effect snow is heavy, wet and very slippery. It’s extremely hard to navigate in. Please be patient and give grace right now to one another.

We want to shout out our crew for doing their best and working through the worst conditions.

Posted by another contractor(edited slightly), but I couldn't say it better and more succinctly myself.
