We are happy to post that we wrapped up this small project last week. The owner is taking it from here and will finish the paint, the insulation and the drywall. This was a fun, small project that we were able to construct for a good friend.

Organic Modern interior mixed with Modern Farmhouse exterior. This was a wonderful project as the designer. We were able to use floor to ceiling glass in many of the rooms to create a wonderful inside-outside experience.

A good friend asked us to add onto his garage. This project is much smaller than our normal custom homes and large additions/remodels but we are honored to give him some extra man space.

The home office has changed over the thirty years we have been designing and building homes. These are a few of my favorite traditional offices that had amazing detail.

Desiging and building in the mountains of Colorado is one of the most rewarding and difficult things we do. You often deal with extreme slopes and difficult access. The positives are using materials that blend with the surroundings. On these projects we often get to specify metal, rustic siding, masonry from surrounding areas and livings spaces not always associated with city life. The end result is always worth all the effort.

Our client hired us to create a two-story farmhouse with wrap-around front porch and integrated decks and patios at the back of the home. We also designed the barndominium that is attached to the south side of the house several years later. The owners of Westpoint Carpet One took it from there and made one spectacular living experience!

The client for this gorgeous home in Greeley, CO wanted a built-in banquette near the kitchen. We were able to incorporate their wish into the kitchen island. They also wanted an open concept between the two-story great room and the nook area. We also tied in a large mudroom with lockers for the entire family between the garage and the kitchen. The final design with their finish selections is amazing.

Another custom home completed in the foothills outside of Golden, CO. It was truly wonderful working with Jamie and Justin on their dream home. The setting is beautiful and the house turned out spectacular. This ranch style home is 1684 SF with a full walkout basement.

Ecotecture Studios' primary focus is the design and build of new custom homes. Occasionally, we do a remodel project. Here are the before and after photos of our last project in Boulder. We transformed this old indoor pool into a primary suite. The humidity of the pool area led to some difficult mitigation of mold and rot. The transformation was incredible and the client was thrilled.
