What does it look like when you love where you work? We think it looks a little something like this. 😄

This photo just in from members of our sales team attending Betterliving training today. Betterliving manufactures sunrooms, patio covers, pergolas, retractable awnings, and other outdoor-living products.

At DBC, we invest in our people because helping them learn and grow provides a better experience for our customers.

Fresh from the Jobsite 🏡

More room for entertaining was at the top of these homeowners’ wish list, and their new three-season sunroom is beginning to take shape!

The finished room will give them a bright, comfortable place to gather with family and friends, take in the beautiful views, and enjoy the fresh air without bugs or rain.

Family dinners, game nights, reading, morning coffee…how would you use a space like this?

Does this look like a basement? 👀

A finished basement doesn’t have to feel cold, dark, or separate from the rest of your home. With the right design and materials, it can feel like a true extension of your living space.

And because basements are below grade, the materials you use matter. Total Basement Finishing is designed specifically for that environment, with moisture-resistant products made for basement conditions.

What would you turn your basement into? A family room, home office, gym, guest space, or something else? 💚

⛳ Grateful. That's the word that keeps coming to mind after today.

Today, the DBC Remodeling & Construction team hit the course for the Erie County Technical School’s Annual Golf Scramble at Whispering Woods — and we couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to stand behind these students!

Here's why this matters so much to us: the young people walking those halls aren't just students. They're the future of our trades. They're the hands that will build and remodel the homes, install the systems, and craft the spaces that families will live and grow in for decades to come. When we invest in them, we're investing in the future of our entire community.

At DBC, we're more than a remodeling company — we're a teaching, training, and coaching organization at our core. We believe skilled tradespeople aren't just born; they're mentored, developed, and encouraged. Someone believed in each of us once. Supporting Erie County Technical School is our way of paying that forward.

A big shoutout to our team (DBC’s Owner Doug and Estimator Elliot pictured) representing DBC out on the course today — good company, good cause, and a beautiful day for it. 🏌️

To the students: keep showing up, keep learning, keep taking pride in your craft. The work you're preparing to do is honorable, it's needed, and it changes lives.

And to the educators, staff, and volunteers who made this event possible — thank you for pouring into the next generation. We're honored to stand alongside you!

The trades built this country, and they'll keep building its future. We're grateful to play a small part in that story. 💚
