Providing an excellent asphalt experience since 2009 Central Paving, LLC was founded in 2009 by the Greear family of Ellensburg, WA.

We operate throughout Central and Western Washington. Our services include asphalt paving, asphalt repair, sealcoating, pavement marking, crack sealing, and grading to residential, commercial, industrial, and public customers.

Open for business the whole way through.

We rebuilt the parking lot at a busy grocery-anchored retail center in Tacoma: milling and repaving the drive lanes, regrading the accessible stalls to meet ADA slope, replacing ramps and concrete, setting new steel bollards, and finishing with fresh striping and signage.

The work was phased section by section, with prep, mill, pave, and paint crews moving through the site in stages so the lot stayed usable for shoppers. Some of the final striping went down after dark to stay out of the way.

Still reminiscing on Labor Day weekend at the Kittitas County Fair Parade. 🍬

The forecast said rain — so we made it rain candy instead. Huge thanks to Ellensburg for turning out in the drizzle and giving our crew, families, and friends the best kind of send-off into fair weekend.

Hay bales, high-vis, buckets of candy, and a whole lot of soggy grins. Thanks to everyone on the float, everyone lining the parade route, and every kid with a bag who made it worth it.

Already looking forward to next year.

New building, new lot, dialed in.

Our crews handled the prep and paving on a new commercial lot in Ellensburg, tying fresh asphalt right into the building's aprons and entrances with clean lines at every edge. Depths were built to the civil plan - thicker through the truck side where the heavy traffic runs.

Fresh asphalt through the pines.

We wrapped two connected trail projects for a private resort community near Cle Elum - a new mail area and trail, plus a golf course path running past the practice green. Roughly 560 feet of new 8-foot path on the golf trail alone, hand-worked through tight tree lines and steep, skiddy grades where the big equipment simply can't go.

Two days of prep, one day of paving, and a clean edge from end to end. Trails like these get walked every single day, so the finish matters as much as the base underneath it.

Our crew tackled a full mill-and-pave job at an aviation facility in Pullman — removing over 9,000 square feet of worn asphalt down to a clean 4" base, then rebuilding it right: graded and compacted crushed surfacing, capped with 260 tons of fresh 1/2" commercial hot mix.
