That moment when your community garden grows yummy and fresh lettuce to serve up a huge taco salad for your community meal (45+ fed today)! We had nine heads of lettuce that we harvested for this meal!

Things are really picking up in our little garden, and the perfect temps with sun forecasted for this week will speed things along!

We also were able to harvest six big green heads of lettuce and four purple heads of lettuce to use in our community meal this week (free, each Friday at 5:30 PM). We have not been able to serve fresh greens in a long time because of the escalating cost, and it’s delightful to know we grew the lettuce in our own garden.
