As the lead designer and design team manager for the Fred Parker Co., the design of this home was one of my favorites of which to be a part of creating. Richard Berry, now principle of Residential Studio, RDS, also played a major role in this homes design. I would be remiss in mentioning Richard, one of the most talented designers I know. My first project in Autodesk Revit. It is definitely a learning experience, but I am excited to learn to use this dynamic design tool.
I started my design career in 1982, and have designed with vellum
and graphite, vellum and ink, and I am now on my 6th CAD/BIM software, plus multiple iterations of each.
The design process doesn't change, but the tools and the software are constantly in flux. I am excited about the potential of Revit.
Stay tuned as I venture into more design challenges, and grow in my abilities with Revit and the latest iteration of AutoCAD!
