Never Forget. 25 years later.
On this day we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken on September 11, 2001 — and the first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when everything changed.
We also remember a piece of that day that belongs to the water: the 9/11 Boatlift. After the Coast Guard’s call for “all available boats,” captains, crews, ferries, tugs, and working vessels of every kind answered. In a matter of hours they moved an estimated 500,000 people off Lower Manhattan — the largest water evacuation in history.
That instinct — show up, do the work, get people home — is what we honor today.
From all of us at EZ Dock Marine: we remember the fallen, we honor the families still carrying the loss, and we salute every first responder and every mariner who answered the call.
We will never forget🇺🇸
