Story Time: A few months before Hurricane Ian hit, we completed this dock and boat lift project in Port Charlotte.

Like some customers, the homeowner asked us why our price was higher than some of the other quotes he received. Our answer was simple: we build stronger. We take the time to do things right—driving piles deeper, using more hardware, and focusing on quality and durability instead of cutting corners.

The homeowner trusted the process and chose Above Board Marine.

Then Hurricane Ian came through.

The photos tell the story. While the house suffered devastating damage, the dock and boat lift remained standing in the background, undamaged. Many neighboring docks didn't survive the storm.
