With this spring storm moving in, we’re keeping a close eye on conditions across the Denver area.

Our Production Manager, David Boswell, noted that trees are especially vulnerable this time of year. Many have already leafed out, which adds weight, and with moisture or heavy snow, that can lead to limb failure—especially on trees already stressed from drought or past damage.

The biggest risks we typically see are weak branch attachments, dead wood, and structural issues that aren’t always obvious until a storm hits.

If you have concerns, it’s a good idea to take a quick look at your trees now—especially over homes, driveways, or sidewalks. After the storm passes, we’re always happy to help assess any damage and recommend next steps.

Strong winds are dangerous!

🌳 WHAT TO LOOK FOR NOW:

Leaning, cracked, or partially uprooted trees
Dead or hanging branches
Decay, fungus, or hollow areas on trunks
Trees near your home, cars, or power lines

What You Can Do:
If you notice any concerning signs, contact us for an immediate assessment. During high winds, stay indoors and away from windows, and never attempt to trim or remove branches yourself in windy conditions.

After the Storm:
Do not approach downed trees or branches near power lines—call your utility company immediately. Be cautious of damaged branches that may be under tension and could fall or spring back dangerously.
