It is essential to achieve this since no one would want to move to a house where everything they do is in plain sight of others. Even though they are in the same lot, you must never forget that they are independent homes.

If the ADU is to be built after demolishing or converting a garage, it does not need to replace parking spaces. If you wish, it is possible to park the vehicles inside the setbacks; This means that your driveway can be used for parking. On the contrary, if you are not demolishing or converting a garage, the parking lot may not be located in the front setbacks. But if you have a corner lot or a rear Alley lot, you could add another driveway or use the same alley as a backup parking space. Suppose the property is located half a mile from public transportation. In that case, it does not require additional parking.
