Our UL 508A Certified Panel Shop in Emmett designs and builds custom control panels for customers nationwide.

Think of a control panel as the brain behind the equipment—helping monitor what’s happening and telling motors, pumps and other equipment what to do next.

From straightforward motor controls to complex automation systems, we design, build, wire, label, inspect and test our panels in-house.

But we think beyond the workbench.

The people building our panels understand what happens after a panel leaves the shop. Someone has to install it, start it up, troubleshoot it and maintain it. Our electrical and controls experience helps us build with those people in mind.

That means organized layouts, professional wiring, clear labeling, quality components and thorough testing. Not just a panel that looks good—a panel built for the job.

Our shop supports manufacturing, water and wastewater, agriculture, energy, commercial facilities and industrial applications. We build new control panels and help with replacement panels, retrofits and system upgrades.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | Falcon Storage Condos

Not your typical storage facility! Falcon Storage Condos in Eagle, Idaho combines 107 individually owned units with spaces built for everything from RVs, boats and classic cars to workshops and customized garages.

Payette River Electric & Controls provided the complete electrical construction for the 125,000+ square-foot development, including power distribution, lighting, controls and equipment connections throughout the property.

One of the coolest parts of this project is seeing how differently owners have made these spaces their own. What starts as an industrial shell can become a workshop, car collection, recreational storage space — or a pretty impressive garage.

A unique project, and one we're proud to have been part of.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | St. Ignatius Catholic School Addition

A look back at the 7,200-square-foot addition to St. Ignatius Catholic School in Meridian, Idaho, completed in 2024.

Payette River Electric & Controls provided the full electrical scope for the addition, including:
• Power distribution and branch circuitry
• Interior and exterior lighting
• Lighting controls
• Equipment connections
• Supporting electrical systems throughout the new classrooms and spaces

Working on an active school campus added another layer to the project. Careful planning and coordination between trades helped keep construction moving while minimizing disruption to the school — and the project was completed ahead of schedule.

One of the things we’re most proud of, though, is the feedback we received after the project. As Project Manager Karen Mahoney put it:
“Any electrical company can put in wires and drops—Payette offered solutions and savings.”

That’s exactly the kind of partner we work to be on every project.

PAYETTE RIVER COMPANY DAY | Topgolf

A little business, a lot of fun, and a great afternoon with the Payette River team.
We recently got everyone together at Topgolf for a GO WITH THE FLOW TEAM DAY — a chance to step away from the jobsites and panel shop and spend some time together as a company.

We had a delicious breakfast buffet, and also took some time to roll out our updated company handbook and review our health insurance and retirement benefits with our agents, giving everyone a chance to learn more about the resources and benefits available to them.

We had some great raffle prizes up for grabs — a Blackstone grill and accessories, two rafting trips for two, gift cards, and cooler backpacks loaded with golf and fishing gear. Everyone went home with a little something!!!

The team went in and got some new “clubs” for the boss to show our appreciation, too! LOL

Then we got down to the important business — finding out who can actually GOLF!

More than anything, it was a chance to get everyone together away from the jobsites and shop, spend some time as a team, and show our appreciation for the people who make Payette River what it is.

We work hard, and days like this are a good reminder that the people behind the work matter just as much as the projects.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | Wright Brothers Corporate Office

A look back at the Wright Brothers Corporate Office in Star, Idaho — a 22,000-square-foot project completed in 2024.

Payette River Electric & Controls provided the complete electrical construction package for the new corporate office, including:
• Electrical distribution and branch power
• Interior and exterior lighting
• Lighting controls
• Equipment connections
• Coordination with multiple trades throughout construction

Projects like this are a good example of how much happens behind the walls before you ever see the finished space. Careful planning, communication between trades, and coordination in the field all play a part in keeping the electrical work moving with the rest of the project.

A great project to be part of — and one we’re proud to look back on.
