A tip for the innovative thinkers out there. As I have been down the road with several inventions I think a tip from experience is worth reading especially if you are considerting spending big money on a patent. Get the book how to patent it yourself by David Pressman and read about provisional patents first. 9 times out of 10 you will be better off filing a provisional and doing some market research and possibly test marketing before you take the plunge. It cost only 125.00 to file if you do it yourself.

Just a question for the painters out there. If your in the middle of a paint project and dont want to dump all the paint back in the bucket because your going to use it the next day, what do you do? do you cover your tray and wrap the roller up? What do you cover your tray with if you do?

Painters Tip: You did a patch on a painted wall that is heavily textured from a 3/4 nap roller cover. If you put a coat or two of paint on it the patch is going to stand out because the the texture does not match the wall. How to fix: Paint the patch as normal and feather out then go back and load on the paint directly on the patch to the point just before it will run, now feather paint out from the heavly coating but do not roll over it just feather out from the edge of the patch area. If you roll over it you will decrease the amount of paint directly on the patch. When this heavy paint area dries it will have that texture to match the rest of the wall. In short, pile the paint directly on the patch and feather out dont roll out. If you prime the patch a day ahead of time this will make it easier. A new patch just soaks up paint. A primed patch that dried is somewhat sealed, but it must be allowed to dry to get the ben
