I had a beautiful Iris several years ago that died and to my surprise it has reseeded in a different location! Hopefully it’s happy and will continue to grow over the years.

Try mixing different heights, colors, and leaf shapes instead of planting all the same thing in neat rows. Combine water lilies with marginals like canna, arrowhead, water iris, or aquatic forget-me-not.
