“Charity starts at home.” 💚 And this week, that phrase felt especially meaningful.

On Thursday, Hope and Faith Boback of Trinity Custom Homes stopped by Appalachian Children’s Center with an incredibly generous $5,000 donation to support the children and families we serve.

For more than 20 years, Trinity Custom Homes has been building homes here in Ellijay — but their investment in our community goes far beyond bricks and mortar. Their generosity reflects a genuine heart for the people who call this community home. 💜

And their message to us was simple: they hope their gift encourages other local businesses to step up, give back, and support the many deserving organizations doing important work right here in our own community.

How fitting that their visit came just before International Day of Charity on September 5 — a day dedicated to encouraging generosity, service, and support for others.
