Got the little big truck out on the job finally, still working out some issues but I think it’s going to be a good addition to my operation, as long as it don’t catch fire again like it did yesterday when my positive battery cable rubbed through to the frame and melted all the wiring surrounding the battery, thank god for battery disconect switches and fire extinguishers! That could have been much worse.

My first dump truck, a work in progress but almost ready to put it to work

Just finished fixing a drivway and spreading recycled asphalt road base and rip rap rock on the low side of the driveway, I couldn’t cut a ditch on the uphill side of the driveway and build up the crown because the utilities run up the drivway on that side and were shallow because of all of the the erosion over the last 20 years so the only option was to ditch it on the low side and let the water just sheet drain across the driveway and down the rip rap rocked ditch. Not a permanent fix but that will at least slow the erosion down for the next 20 years or more.
