We had an old boom truck sitting in the parking lot and decided to do something with it.
Meet Boomer 2.0. OSC's mobile command unit.
35-foot aerial boom. Five 4K cameras including a PTZ with 25x zoom. Starlink internet. Fully solar powered. Runs completely off-grid. We just proved that at Elkhorn Days last weekend in four days of rain without a single issue.
We built it for construction sites. Turns out events need it just as much. It's heading to city events, fairs, festivals, and concerts across the Omaha and Lincoln area this summer.

***PARENTING ALERT***

There’s a new Chromebook loophole making the rounds on TikTok, and students are sharing it with each other at light speed.

I’ve now had multiple parents report it, and I’ve confirmed kids are using it.

Here’s what’s happening:
Many school Chromebooks use web filters to block inappropriate searches. Students have discovered that by clicking the AI mode / Gemini search button, they can bypass the school’s filter depending on security software.
Yes. One button.
No hacking.
No software.
No special skills.
Just… click.

And depending on the filtering system your school uses, it goes around the protection that everyone thought was in place.
Most schools and parents do not know this is happening yet.
So while you believe your child’s Chromebook is “safe” because it’s filtered…it's not.

How you can safely test your child’s Chromebook filter
You don’t want your kid getting flagged for searching something inappropriate just to test it.

Search this instead:
“battle of the sexes”

That phrase should absolutely trigger a filter if the system is working properly, but it won’t pull up anything inappropriate. If it goes through without a block, you’ve got a problem.

This is not about getting kids in trouble. This is about parents being aware of what kids are learning from TikTok.

Have the conversation.
Check the device.
Call your school’s tech department if you see this happening.

Our hearts are broken by the devastating tornado damage our Elkhorn community suffered yesterday. While our home and shop were spared, many of our neighbors lost everything. By the grace of God, it sounds like there were minimal injuries and the spirit of gratitude and "silver lining" stories is incredible.

We are actively identifying resources we have to offer and working to connect with appropriate disaster teams and GraceHill Omaha . If you are in immediate need of equipment and labor please reach out.
