Another Top 500 plaque to add to the Stebnitz Builders office!

We’re proud to officially celebrate being named to the 2026 Qualified Remodeler Top 500, ranking #284 nationwide and climbing more than 60 spots from last year.

Sam and Chris were happy to hold the plaque, but this recognition belongs to our entire team. It represents the hard work of our carpenters, office team, remodeling consultants, trade partners, and everyone who helps create a great remodeling experience for our clients.

Most importantly, thank you to our clients for continuing to trust Stebnitz Builders with your homes. We’re grateful for the support that has helped our family business continue to grow and improve year after year.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about where we’re headed!

It’s not every day the remodeler gets to be the client!

Our office remodel is making some exciting progress. Most of the new flooring is in, and our new office spaces have been framed, drywalled, and are really starting to take shape.

After more than 50 years in the remodeling industry, we know what goes into creating a great remodeling experience. But getting to experience the process from the client side and watch our talented carpenter team bring the plans to life is always something special.

We’re excited to keep watching the transformation and can’t wait to share more as our refreshed office comes together!

With 27 years of experience in carpentry, Cris brings a wealth of knowledge and craftsmanship to the team. He specializes in framing and finish trim and is excited to put his experience to work on his first independent project with Stebnitz Builders.

August 2026 Traveling Tailgate

We're keeping the Traveling Tailgate rolling! This month, we made our way to the job sites with lunch from Brodies Beef for our crews. A good meal, a little time to recharge, and a chance to enjoy some time together made for a great stop.

Our crews work hard every day to keep projects moving and bring our clients' homes to life. We're grateful for everything they do, and we're always happy to have an excuse to bring everyone some lunch!

Thanks to Brodie's Beef for helping us feed the crew and make this month's Traveling Tailgate one to remember!

It’s officially August, which means the Walworth County Fair Banner Brigade is back!

We’re excited to once again have our Stebnitz Builders banner along the fairgrounds fence, alongside so many other local businesses supporting the Walworth County Fair.

If you’re heading to the fair this year, keep an eye out for us! And if you’re driving by the Jackson Elementary School entrance, see if you can spot our banner.

Preserving Character, Creating Space

This once small A-frame cabin was transformed into a spacious retreat while preserving the character the homeowners loved most. By expanding the home's footprint and thoughtfully reimagining the layout, we created an open-concept living space complete with soaring vaulted ceilings, a stunning natural ledgestone fireplace, and custom finishes throughout.

Every detail was designed to honor the home's original charm while creating a space that's beautiful, functional, and built for everyday living.

Since joining us in 2026, Josh has discovered an interest in framing and enjoys the hands-on nature of remodeling, especially seeing the progress that's made as each stage of a project comes together. One of the things he values most about working at Stebnitz Builders is being part of a team that's supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help one another.
