It’s a good day to climb a tree.

We like to chase down trees on our family vacations… the Angel Oak in South Carolina, the sequoias and redwoods in California, and the white pines and hemlocks in Canada to name a few. Where should we look next?

If your evergreen looks like this, it’s just as sick and tired of winter as we are.

Evergreen roots are shallow and can freeze. With our perpetual winter weather, the roots have spent a lot of time frozen which essentially starves the tree. It’s been surviving by pulling nutrients from its own needles. As a result, many of these branches may not recover even after warm weather finally sticks around. But there is still plenty of hope for these once thriving beauties! Contact Rooted Tree Solutions to find a solution for your evergreen 🌲

Fantastic park that we are honored to serve.

🚨 ANOTHER UPDATE: Sugar Camp Days 🚨

Good news! Crews have been working since early this morning clearing park roads after several trees came down in yesterday’s high winds. We are on track to open today (3/14) from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. 🌲

🥞 Please note: The pancake and sausage breakfast has been canceled for today.
🍁 All other Sugar Camp Days activities will still take place as planned!

Thank you for your patience while crews worked to make the park safe for visitors. We’re excited to welcome everyone this afternoon and hope to see you there! 😊
