Another kitchen remodel in the books.
This one was a big project from start to finish, and I’m extremely happy with how everything came together.
A project like this starts long before demolition. We mapped out a detailed schedule and order of operations from the beginning — coordinating demolition, flooring, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, countertops, appliances, backsplash and all of the smaller details in between. Good planning keeps a project moving, but just as importantly, it leaves room to adapt when something unexpected comes up.
This kitchen received new cabinetry, quartz countertops, a completely updated appliance layout, new lighting and electrical, wood-look porcelain plank flooring, and an 8x8 tile backsplash — along with plenty of custom details and problem-solving along the way.
One of my favorite parts of this project is how well everything works together. The warm cabinetry, bright quartz, gray tile and wood-look flooring completely changed the feel of the room while still fitting naturally with the rest of the home.
I’m especially grateful to Kim and Pat for trusting Acute Solutions with their home. They were wonderful to work with from beginning to end, and seeing them genuinely happy with the finished kitchen made all the work worthwhile.
Every project like this is another reminder of how blessed I am to be able to do this for a living — building something with my hands, solving problems, working with good people, and leaving behind something I’m proud to put my name on.
