Phase Two is underway! 🚧🌱

Edwards Construction Management and Marques General Engineering are now in the rough grading phase of our land development project at Fieldstone Communities Oakleaf Estates, an important step in preparing the site for future construction.

Rough grading involves shaping the land to create the proper elevations, slopes, and drainage patterns needed for the next stages of development. This process includes balancing earthwork, cutting and filling soil, moving and compacting material, and establishing the site contours needed for roads, utilities, and future structures.

With precision, planning, and the right partnerships, we’re continuing to watch this beautiful site come to life.

Edwards Construction Management has completed Phase 1 and moved into Phase 2 of development at Fieldstone Communities Oakleaf Estates.

Marques General Engineering is now in the process of rough grading, an important step that shapes the land, establishes site elevations, and prepares the foundations for future construction.

This 4.3-acre site will soon become a beautiful community of single-family homes. 🌱🏘️

Forecasters are closely monitoring developing El Niño conditions that could influence California’s weather this coming season. According to the Los Angeles Times, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says there is now a 97% chance of El Niño being strong or very strong by the end of the year, raising the likelihood of above-average rainfall, flash flooding, and landslides across parts of California.

While the exact impacts remain uncertain, this is a timely reminder that stormwater planning should happen before the rain arrives.

Edwards Construction Management is wrapping up Phase 1 at Fieldstone Communities LLC | Home Builder Oakleaf Estates.

This phase focused on site preparation and included silt fence installation, BMP installation, and vegetation clearing. Over the coming months, ECM will oversee land development activities to prepare this beautiful 4.3-acre site for future single-family homes.

As the Edwards Family Companies continue to expand beyond erosion control and construction site services, we will continue to seek new ways to provide comprehensive support to our clients.

Strong work by Marco’s crew at Placer Ranch! 💪🏼

The team recently installed 1,600 linear feet of combo fence (ESA/silt) and is on track to complete approximately 3,000 in total for Taylor Builders. In addition, they’re installing bio wattle along the base of the fence to provide an added layer of sediment control.
