Proud of our crews!

Update 2:45pm (3/16): We currently have 626 members without power and crews continue to work. Not only have our Nolin personnel been working since the winds began yesterday, our Wide Open Utility Service right-of-way crews have been hard at work clearing the trees and limbs that caused much of the damage. We are grateful for their hard work during severe weather recovery - and throughout the year.

Need FREE unprocessed woodchips? Are your road and property accessible (not blocked by piles of snow or covered in ice)?

We have free unprocessed woodchips available (delivered by the truckload only) but need to deliver them to places that are accessible - if that sounds like you, call 270-600-2714.

Our crews are out working hard every day to clear rights-of-way around the Nolin RECC service territory. This ROW in Rineyville is a good example of how their work means better reliability for Nolin members. Great job guys!

If you are planning to plant trees this fall, be aware of clearance needed in rights-of-way. Proper placement today reduces the chance of outages and the need to cut trees later.

Thanks to Crew Leader Robert Mudd for sharing this view of "neighbors" his crew encountered on a ROW job today. Not only do our crews work hard in all weather conditions, they also have to be on the lookout for (and avoid) other potential hazards.
