Here is the latest Riverside Taphouse adventure report.
In winter we like to do caves!
Feb was Whorley's Cave or Morrell Cave.
The longest mapped cave in North East TN. 3.5 to 4.5 miles.
Miles and I went in an estimated 1.5 mi. and back out.
You can do most of the cave standing up and as much creek wading as you want. To go deeper than a mile or so you must do some crawling. Not too tight but enough to know you were caving.

Haven't updated anything about Mom's in a while. We are actually finishing up the inside. It will be cleaned nest week and ready to move in1

It has been a while since I have posted on Laporte Const. Not because we haven't been busy but because we have. Started the final phase of the 19E Mini-storage so a few photos of that project.

Look who came to visit us today!
I have never observed an employee move so fast as when the snake crawled behind him at break.
I of course caught him or her and released into a native grass area.

Speaking of native plantings.
Got a letter from the city informing me that my project was in violation of city codes.
Namely the grass is too tall, must be cut to 6".
So count me as fighting city hall.
Who would have a problem with this wildflower plantings around a retention pond?
