Working with family is one of the biggest challenges you’ll ever face, but it can also be one of the most rewarding choices you make. Three years before Darrell’s illness, he and Brian decided to build their work together—and those were some of the best years. Seeing each other every day, relying on each other, and knowing you’ll go the extra mile with the person beside you is a rare kind of bond. Darrell brought a deep knowledge of running equipment in places others wouldn’t even dare to, and his pride in Hill’s Septic came from knowing his brother had put so much of himself into the business. We’re thankful for the years he worked with us. We’ll carry the memories in our hearts forever, and we honor his memory this month as it has now been two years this month, we found out about his diagnosis.
