The Brave Boat Harbor kitchen in York is complete.
We are very pleased with the outcome. A nice combination of a shaker style inset door/drawer detail with the usual high end hardware, and a striking quartzite countertop and full height backsplash. Also a generous pass thru opening connects the living room and kitchen opening up the space and adding a ton of natural light.
Once again, thank you to all of the subcontractors whom make it all come togethe. After the 100% custom cabinets are built in our shop; the rest of the team steps in to do their part!

Having grown up in York, it is always a pleasure to work with local establishments.
We were commissioned to produce a custom beer tap handle for The Lobster in the Rough.
Having worked at their sister restaurant (The Lobster Barn, which is no longer in existence) as a teen this was a fun one.
"The Rough", is a summertime hotapot in York and they partnered with Sebago Brewing Co. To produce a Rough branded pilsner.
The handle is cnc carved from solid mahogany with accent staining and epoxy branding.

A few relatively quick, but interesting projects just wrapped up.
First; a floating, handicapped accessible vanity with stone top built for JT Property Services to help with their bathroom remodel at the York Harbor Reading Room.

And second; we were asked to duplicate the original glass Taffy displays and build matching cabinetry to extend the Taffy counter for the historic Goldenrod Candy store and restaurant located in York Beach.

We are making great progress on the Brave Boat Harbor Rd. kitchen.
It is a breath of fresh air compared to the original package. From the white shaker style cabinets, to the very patterned stone countertops with full height backsplash, generous sized island and pass thrus to the living room, it really updated the space.

Finally got around to installing the finishing touches on this open walnut framed window/pass thru. Featuring a stained glass transom original to the home as well.

We can see the finish line on the double bathroom remodel in York. Custom vanities, custom quartz shower surrounds, matching shop made mirrors, paint, etc. We are waiting on the frameless shower doors and accent wall treatments.

Yesterday was the install of a large set of retail display shelves at a local establishment to help with their expansion of adult beverage sales.
The scale made it hard to obtain great photos, each shelf in total is almost 20 feet in length. The final process tag molding will be installed shortly as well.

Sometimes you just need to sit back and remember your mentors. I was fortunate enough to have a great friend and mentor in Ron.
I found one of my old work shirts in my cabinet shop and it made me take a second to reminisce.
