Another great set of club chairs and ottoman completed and out the door. The fabric was a durable tweed like fabric with specks of green making the green contrast cord a perfect finish for these chairs.

Here’s another settee we recovered and delivered recently. The customer wanted to remove all the buttons and give it a more contemporary look. We did so for her and covered it in this blue and gold diamond pattern. I like the new look! What do you think?

Another great transformation in the books. This set was overdue for a change. The red fabric was worn and tattered, not to mention an eye sore with the current decor. We replaced the deteriorating foam in the seat and the ottoman to give both pieces new life. This was the last piece in a living room that has undergone a total redesign over the last year or so.

Kick back and relax in this newly finished chaise lounge. Whether you call it Bohemian, tribal or southwestern, this fabric makes for a great choice for this piece. We did have to make some repairs by re-tying the springs and added new padding to the arms. Other than that, this chaise was in good shape. Not bad for a thrifted piece.

We’ve been having a lot of small pieces dropped off in the shop lately and they can add up fast. Most of these are heirlooms and a couple will be going into nurseries. Do you have a chair that just stands out and doesn’t work with your current decor? Maybe it’s been hiding out in a bedroom for years and now you want to use it elsewhere? Here’s a perfect example of how reupholstering can transform a perfectly good chair and make it suitable for any room in the house. Look at the decorative trim, it’s subtle but adds a personal touch to the room. Couple this chair with your favorite throw or decorative pillow and it’s ready to go.
