🚨 NEW DECK PROJECT STARTING TOMORROW! 🔨🔥

We’re getting everything ready today — equipment is being dropped off and all of our framing materials were delivered this morning! 💪

Tomorrow, this old deck is coming DOWN! 🪚

We’ll be replacing it with a completely new structure, framed with joists every 12” on center and getting everything ready for Trex composite decking and Trex railing.

And we’re not stopping there… 👀💡

No project is too big or too small for us! 💪🔨

Today we demolished this 13' × 15' deck platform, and we’ll be replacing it with Trex composite decking while keeping the existing bench and stairs, as requested by the homeowner.

This project will be completed by Saturday, and Monday we’re heading to Elgin, IL to start another new composite deck! 🔥

🔨 Framing is officially complete!

This 38' x 12' deck with a 4' x 4' stair landing sits about 6 feet high, and the framing is now ready for inspection. ✅

Once we get the green light, we’ll move on to the finishes. This one will feature:

🔥 Trex composite decking
🔥 Trex aluminum railing
🔥 A clean, low-maintenance finish built to last

Can’t wait to show you guys the transformation as this project comes together! 💪😎

🚧 NEW PROJECT STARTED! 🚧

And THIS is why proper deck flashing matters! ⚠️

Our team started demolition on this new project, and once we removed the old deck and ledger board, we discovered a lot of water damage hiding behind it. 💧🏠

This is exactly why you want to make sure your contractor is using the correct flashing and waterproofing methods when attaching a deck to your home.

The deck may look perfectly fine from the outside, but if the ledger isn't properly flashed, water can get behind it over the years and cause rotted wood and expensive damage to your home.

We're just getting started on this one. Stay tuned as we repair the damage and build this customer a brand-new deck the right way! 💪🔨

Privacy panels are finally in! 🔥

We came back to put the finishing touches on this beautiful project, and it is now officially complete!

This low, open-concept deck features Trex composite decking and fascia, wide steps for a clean and spacious look, and two beautiful TimberTech privacy panels that give the space just the right amount of privacy while adding a great finishing touch.

We’re really happy with how this one came together! 🔨

Another one in the books! 🔨🔥

Our team just wrapped up this beautiful Trex composite deck featuring an open-concept design with wide steps all around. We love how clean and spacious this one turned out!

We’re just waiting on the privacy wall panels to be delivered, then we’ll head back to install them and officially call this project 100% complete.

🔨 Another project almost completed!

We’re putting the finishing touches on this low deck build, sitting less than 30" off the ground. For this project, the customer wanted a clean open-concept deck, so we designed it without railing and added wide, inviting steps to keep that open feel.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes detail on why we built the stairs this way. 👇

Since we have an open design with no railing and only 3 steps, we built each step with a 3-board-deep tread instead of the typical 2 boards. This gives you a wider, more comfortable step and helps reduce the chance of someone missing a step or tripping.

Another important detail you won’t see once the project is finished 👇

Underneath the bottom of the stairs, we poured a hidden concrete slab. Instead of having the stair stringers sitting directly on dirt, they have a solid, stable surface to land on. This helps keep the stairs supported, level, and in place over time.

These are the little details homeowners may never see once everything is completed, but they can make a big difference in the safety, stability, and longevity of the project.
