Underbrush Clearing & Property Improvement

Clearing approximately one acre of overgrown underbrush, small saplings, dead growth, and unwanted vegetation to open up the property and improve the overall appearance of the lot.

The goal isn’t to clear-cut the area, but to clean up the forest floor while keeping desirable trees and natural features in place. Removing the thick understory will create better visibility through the property, make the area easier to walk and maintain, and reduce the amount of dead and dense vegetation that can contribute to fire risk.

Selective clearing will also help improve the area for wildlife by opening up travel corridors, allowing more sunlight to reach the ground, and encouraging new grasses, native plants, and browse to grow.

Work will include:

* Selective removal of underbrush, brush, small saplings, and unwanted vegetation
* Removal of dead and excessive ground-level growth where accessible
* Retaining desirable trees and natural habitat features
* Opening sightlines throughout the wooded area
* Creating better access and travel areas for wildlife
* Reducing excessive fuel buildup and potential fire hazards
* Leaving the property with a cleaner, more open, natural wooded appearance

The finished area will still maintain the character of a wooded lot, just cleaned up and opened up so the property can be better enjoyed by both the homeowner and local wildlife.

A great driveway doesn’t always need new gravel—it needs the right equipment and experience.

This driveway had developed washboarding, uneven grades, and was difficult to maintain on the property’s steep terrain.

We completely reworked the existing material, restored the proper crown, corrected the grade, and compacted the surface to improve stability and help it hold up on the steep slopes—all without bringing in any new gravel.

Sometimes the best solution is making the most of what’s already there.
