Jordan Foster Construction

Teamwork gets a little muddy sometimes. 💪

A few members of the JFC team traded the jobsite for a different kind of challenge this past weekend, taking on the Muddy Dash alongside some of their family members.

What started with clean shirts ended with plenty of mud, laughs and a little friendly competition. Hugo Peña earned bragging rights as the first of the JFC crew across the finish line, while CDL Driver Alex Valdez came in clutch afterward with the water truck for a much-needed rinse. 😂

The best part? They’re already talking about doing it again next year.

Great to see our people building relationships and having some fun together, even when it means getting a little dirty.

Jordan Foster Construction has earned the 2026 W. Burr Bennett Vanguard Award for Safety Excellence, honoring its company-wide safety culture.

What does safety excellence look like at Jordan Foster?

It starts with our people.

It means empowering every employee to speak up and stop work when something doesn’t look right. It means leadership listening, and acting, when our field teams identify a safer or better way. It means challenging the status quo, embracing new technology and protective equipment, and recognizing that taking care of our people extends beyond physical safety to mental health and overall well-being.

These are some of the principles and practices that helped Jordan Foster earn the ASCC Vanguard Award for Concrete Safety Excellence.

But perhaps the most important part of our approach is recognizing that safety excellence has no finish line. We will continue listening to our people, learning from their experiences, and finding new ways to make our jobsites safer.

Hear directly from members of Team Jordan Foster about the safety culture we’re building together.

We’re proud to share some exciting news: Jordan Foster Construction has received the ASCC Vanguard Award for Concrete Safety Excellence, the American Society of Concrete Contractors’ highest safety honor! 🏆

This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the safety culture our people work to build every day.

At Jordan Foster, every employee has a voice. We encourage our teams to speak up, ask questions, stop work when something doesn’t look right, and challenge us when there may be a safer or better way. In return, our responsibility as an organization is to listen—and act on what we learn.

From embracing new technology and better protective equipment to expanding our focus on mental health and well-being, we’re committed to continually evolving how we protect and support our people.

We’re grateful to the American Society of Concrete Contractors for this recognition and, most importantly, proud of every member of Team Jordan Foster who helped make it possible.

There is no finish line when it comes to building a strong safety culture. We’ll keep listening, learning and improving together.

In construction, we’re trained to recognize hazards. We look for the things that could put ourselves or the people around us at risk.

But some hazards aren’t as easy to see.

Sometimes the person carrying the heaviest load is the one who seems the strongest, the person everyone else depends on. Looking out for one another means paying attention to more than what we can see.

At Jordan Foster Construction, safety means protecting the whole person, on and off the jobsite.

Building curiosity today. Building our communities tomorrow. 🏗️

Members of the Jordan Foster team recently joined Escontrias STEAM Academy for its STEAM Expo, giving 3rd–5th grade students a hands-on look at the world of construction.

Through conversations and interactive activities, our team shared how science, technology, engineering, art and math come together every day to solve problems and bring projects to life.

We’re proud to support opportunities that introduce young students to the many possibilities within our industry—and maybe inspire a few future builders along the way.

Thank you to Escontrias STEAM Academy for inviting us to be part of the day!

For 250 years, America has been built by people willing to put in the work.

The builders. The tradespeople. The innovators. The problem-solvers. The men and women who show up every day, knowing that what they build today will serve generations tomorrow.

At Jordan Foster, we’re proud to carry that tradition forward, building the infrastructure, facilities, and communities that help move our country ahead.

On this July 4th, we celebrate our nation’s past, honor those who built it, and look forward to helping build what’s next.

Happy Independence Day, and here’s to America’s next 250 years.

Building strong teams starts with staying connected. 💙

One of our HR team members recently visited an infrastructure project site to connect with our field crews and gain firsthand insight into the roles that keep our projects moving.

Time in the field strengthens our recruiting efforts, deepens our understanding of our workforce, and reinforces the relationships that make our success possible.
