This is Fire Prevention Week. For a furnace crew, that's not a coincidence. The first heat call of the season is also the first chance a cracked heat exchanger or a bad vent gets missed.

When you're out on a startup, it's worth the extra minute. Test the CO alarm. Check the vent. Tell the homeowner what you found.

We carry CO detectors and combustion test supplies if you need to add them to the truck.

A furnace that won't light almost always comes down to the same few parts. An igniter that's cracked. A flame sensor that's dirty or worn out. Sometimes a gas valve that's failed outright.

We keep all three in stock at every branch, not just the busy ones. If a call comes in at 7am, your rep can have it staged before you get there.
